Modest Superhero Costume?
I have to dress up as a superhero – don’t ask- but I’m not the skinniest person around. What are some superhero costumes(for girls) that don’t show midriff or upper thigh? Nothing pink please! And something preferably black?

1. Dust From: New X-men. Costume: Since she’s muslim, she wears the traditional muslim gear, and is covered from head to toe in black.

2. Batgirl From: Batman. Costume: Skirted version with a cape. Pretty easy to find.

3. Rogue From: X-men. Costume: Since she must cover herself from head to toe, this might be just the costume you’re looking for. And since her costume has changed frequently over the years she’s been in comics, you have more flexibility in your costume planning.

4. Supergirl From: Superman. Costume: At one point, she wore a shirt and skirt design. You could easily find yourself a superman shirt, a red skirt, and temporarily stitch on a short red cape. This idea gives you the flexibility to use whatever skirt makes you comfortable.
