A Clockwork Orange Costume?
So I had the idea of putting together a costume for Halloween that would make me look like Alexander DeLarge from the book and later film “A Clockwork Orange”. I have found a good costume, but it costs about $85. Is there any way I might be able to create it for less?
White shirt and white pants. Purchase at a thrift or secondhand store like Goodwill.
Black derby.
White suspenders.
False Eyelashes.
I can’t imagine it costing more than $50 for everything, and probably quite a bit less. There are Closkwork Orange packages out there that include the derby and suspenders (link). Unfortunately, I haven’t come across anyone with either the groin cover or the white commedia mask.
