How do I make a cheap(but good) costume(Zombie)?
Okay so i want to be a zombie for Halloween, I am a girl do not want to spend a bunch on stuff like fake guts and junk but like what should i do I have never made a costume before.
Look at thrift stores (or your closet) for some old clothes. Depending on the type of zombie you want to be, you can shred, rub dirt on, or spray blood on. I’ve been a beauty queen zombie (Diss Emboweled on a sash) and just used an old formal dress I’d never wear again.
The liquid blood is great for spraying on clothes. We always did it with our mouths, but it makes your tongue tingle, so I’m sure it causes cancer and a better route would be just to squeeze or use a spray bottle. You can also just pour it on. It looks good when you drench one arm in it and have someone get some on their hand and grab your shirt.
You want your face to be as pale as possible, either with makeup or just some baby powder. Get some black eyeshadow and give your self dark circles under your eyes and under your cheekbones for a hollowed out look. I like using black liquid liner to make vertical lines on my lips, but pale lips also work.
Your hair should just look matted and crazy so spray and tease the h*ll out of it.
Zombie costumes are easy, cheap, and awesome. They are my usual go to costume…especially if I procrastinate.
