Costumes Vintage

My mother and I have accumulated a very large quantity of costume vintage and?

antique jewelry over the years in hopes of one day opening a store.
We can see that that plan is out of our grasp and wondering if anyone knows of how to organize this stuff? We have no idea where to begin and maybe there is someone with ideas.
I do have an ebay account and could possibly use that outlet, but not until it is organized.

FIRST- GET YOURSELF ORGANIZED! You need a business plan. You & your mom set down, figurup what youcan afford to spend out of pocket getting this going. What do you expect from your business money wise and long term wise? whats your goals? Since you will be opening a store with that type of atire, it will be for profit. You will need to get with your state and file paperwork to register your official business name. Its around $25 to do that. You will then need to call IRS and file for a FID & EIN numbers. (FEDERAL IDENTIFICATION #, EMPLOYER ID NUMBER) . After you get all you paperwork lined up then you will need to find a place to rent or lease my reccoations is do monthly at first if possible, go small at first, you dont need bare empty shelves setting around. After you sell what you have, you need to find ways to keep bringing in the goods. (Consignments) (buy n sell) etc). Whatever it takes to keep people returning and your business profiting. Hope this helps! Good luck
