Halloween costume- Prostitute? (Social dispute/ hair)?
Do you think society is open minded enough to accept this costume? I’ll be wearing knee length platform boots, fishnet stockings and a tight corset. This outfit is actually not particularly revealing, but due to stereotypes, they will be seen as “slutty,” which is part of my point. I chose my costume to be such to mock the frequent scanty costumes teenagers wear with something out right scandalous (instead of say, a naughty nurse or pirate). Also, for fun. If it matters, my age is 16.
- Will my point come across?
-What’s a prostitute/ whore stereotype for hair?
-Do you think parents, ect will find my explanation for my costume acceptable?
