Themed Restaurant Opening!?
Thinking openeing a Themed restaurant, Not food wise but in such a way where the waiters/waitresses wear costumes suiting the theme. How much in do you think it would cost to open or get a busniess like this started? In a general downtown Ottawa/Canada area?
I am a former chef and from Canada and reside in Toronto now, with real estate being what it is, to start a restaurant from the ground up now, in downtown Ottawa, your looking at at least 150-500K, with construction, kitchen equipment and the other necessary issues, plus not alot of banks will loan you that kind of money these days.
If you can find an already established business that is willing to sell you cut the cost by 50%, look around the area, I have not been to Ottawa in a few years, with the Federal Government and it’s department all over the downtown area there are no shortage of customers, but I found it get pretty quiet downtown except for the weekends and Friday nights, that is something to consider to.
