Austin Powers costume help?
I’m going as Austin Powers to a fancy dress party in a couple of weeks. I’ve got a bright blue jacket, medallion and glasses, I just need to find some trousers and to sort out the cuffs…
So I have two of these white jabot/cravats:

One to wear normally and the other to make into those lacey cuffs.
I’m not sure on how i would go about crafting/sewing/making it into cuffs? There are 3 rows of lace stitched onto a sort of thick fabric. I don’t really mind sewing onto the jacket, but I was wondering if you guys had any ideas. How would I sew them on? Should i cut strips sothe lace is already gathered or unpick it and sew directly on?
I wasn’t really sure where to post this so i thought you arty/crafty people might be able to help 
Remove the lace and stitch it to either the end of the jacket sleeves (on the inside) or to a long sleeved shirt you intend to wear under the jacket.
Or, most likely cheaper and easier: sell the other cravat and buy enough gathered lace to sew to the sleeves.
